The Core Experience

Every term, we dive deep into the essentials of a well-rounded artist:

• The Design Process: From initial planning to the final stroke.

• Medium Mastery: Expert guidance on pencils, watercolours, acrylics, and more.

• Advanced Techniques: Learning "wet on wet" painting, 3D shading, and cross-hatching.

• Art History & Context: Connecting projects to art movements like Fauvism and masters like Henri Matisse.

Our 8-week curriculum explores a fresh subject and medium every week:

 

Week 1: Subject - Bird, Medium - Acrylics on Canvas, Watercolour Painting technique - Mixing

Week 2: Subject - Portrait- Art replication of a famous artist, Medium - Watercolours, Movement:
fauvism, Understanding Artist's work- Henri Matisse
Week 3: Subject - landscape or scene, Spring theme, Medium - Acrylic colours
Week 4: Subject - Animal, Medium - Acrylics on canvas, Acrylic painting technique 2 - Mixing

Week 5: Subject - Object drawing, Medium - Pencils and Markers
Week 6: Subject - Flowers, Medium - Pencil shading
